An altruistic, self-driven, and creative minded individual, with exceptional vision.
10+ years of experience in commercial, art, travel and portraiture photography as well as a long running interest in videography.
The major themes behind my most artistic work involves the observation of human and animal behaviour, exploring the inner states of our mind and sharing these experiences in an unbiased manner. I find that it’s very crucial to learn the language of future generations, and to internalize the primacies of the new age in order to be able to function properly as individuals who seek inner peace. Some personal videos are showcasing my experiences without inherent biases related to culture or beliefs of any sort
My ultimate purpose is to raise awareness about environmental and humanitarian causes via visual production, which I believe, have the power to impact the human condition, prompting us to ask the right questions about our actions.
In 2014, I partnered up with digital and social media strategy specialist. We decided to create an original content in the form of live concert videos, photos, reviews and event reminders for our music blog dearymusic, which promoted local Toronto Indie music scene. I was responsible for producing music videos from live, still images, and manage post-production content.
Currently I'm reviving a project which first began in 2012, Baraka. This is a public photo booth installation that allows me to photograph random people. It can also be thought as a portable studio, where I am able to take detailed close-up portraits of each subject. With each photo, I hope to help the viewer to better understand the subjects I photograph, and hopefully achieve a way for more meaningful interaction.
